About The Trip:

The hike begins on Big Creek Trail along its namesake, which is one of the widest creeks in the park.
The moderate 3-mile round trip hike to Midnight Hole follows a fairly level railroad grade.
It is partially-shaded with areas of rock patches and a cliff to one side lined with majestic trees.
There are also many small trail offshoots that are worth exploring, time permitting.


